LU-VE meets the Italian Ambassador to Poland in preparation for the inauguration of their new production facility

The Italian multinational based in the province of Varese has taken part in the business delegation which today in Rome met the new Italian Ambassador to Poland, Aldo Amati.

Amongst the topics discussed was the inauguration of LU-VE’s new production facility in Poland, scheduled for next spring: an investment of approximately €36 million.

Uboldo, 4 October 2018 – As part of its plan for international development in strategic areas, LU-VE (the Italian multinational with headquarters in the Province of Varese and leader in the heat exchanger sector) is continuing its expansion project in Poland where, in 2019, a new plant controlled by SEST LU-VE Polska will be inaugurated in Gliwice.

The company took part earlier today in the business delegation in Rome which met the new Italian Ambassador to Poland, Aldo Amati, in order to examine closely matters of major interest concerning the bilateral relationships between the two countries. The meeting was held this morning in the Giai Chamber of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The representatives of various Italian companies participated, including Alitalia, FCA, Ferrero, Generali, Iveco, Leonardo, Intesa San Paolo, and Saipem. They explained to the new Ambassador their particular interests, experiences and expectations about the economic relations between the two countries.

The meeting had a special strategic significance for LU-VE, above all in view of the inauguration of the new factory of their subsidiary SEST LU-VE Polska in Gliwicw (Silesia), scheduled for next spring. LU-VE is working on a project to expand the Polish production site with an overall investment plan worth approximately €36 million. The plan includes the construction of a factory of about 20,000 covered square metres (50% of the total budget) and the acquisition of equipment and machinery.

Mr. Amati had already had the opportunity to meet LU-VE in 2016 when he was the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic and visited the production site of HTS – Heat Transfer Systems (LU-VE Group) in Novosedly (Moravia).

Ambassador Amati in HTS, June 2016
We already know the considerable value of Ambassador Amati, which we were able to appreciate during his visit to HTS.” commented Fabio Liberali, a Member of the LU-VE Board of Directors and the representative of the company during the meeting. “SEST LU-VE Polska has been producing in Poland since 2002 and now, in preparation for the expansion of the production facility, it gives us great pleasure to see the attention that the Ambassador is dedicating to Italian companies and LU-VE in particular. He has once again, as in the past, shown himself to be a careful listener and interested in the subjects raised in the course of the meeting. For us, it was an opportunity to invite him right away to the inauguration of our new plant next year. We are convinced that, in his role, Ambassador Amati will certainly become an important reference point for Italian companies in Poland. We wish him all the best for his new appointment”.
