Stefano Paleari (LU-VE Group Board Member) to lead Human Technopole

The Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi has nominated Professor Stefano Paleari, a member of the Board of Directors of LU-VE Group, as Coordinator of the Committee for the Human Technopole project, which provides for an infrastructure of laboratories for about 1500 researchers, technicians and administrative staff.

Professor Paleari will head the working group for the constitution of the research centre to be set up at the Expo 2015 area. He will be the chairman of a committee of 12 members including the Rectors of the Public Universities of Milan, the Presidents of CNR (the National Research Council of Italy) and ISS (the Italian Higher Institute of Health), and the President and Director of IIT (the Italian Institute of Technology).

Professor Paleari has been an independent Member of the Board of Directors of LU-VE Group since 2015. He teaches Financial Systems Analysis at the University of Bergamo, where he was Rector from October 2009 to September 2015. Since 2015 he has been the President of CRUI (the Conference of Italian University Rectors).
